Team USA Wins Tight Game Against South Sudan in Olympic Tune-Up
A hard-fought victory for Team USA
Team USA barely escaped with a 101-100 victory over South Sudan in an exhibition game on Saturday.
Despite trailing by as many as 16 points in the first half, Team USA rallied back with a massive third quarter to claim the win. LeBron James led the way for Team USA with 23 points, while Luol Deng added 20 and Kevin Durant had 18.
South Sudan was the more impressive team for much of the game, but Team USA's experience and talent ultimately proved to be too much. The United States will now wrap up its pre-Olympic schedule with a game against Nigeria on Monday.
