Darth Tenebrous, a Twilek male, reigned as the Sith Master of the Bith male Darth Plagueis during the final centuries of the Galactic Republic. Little is known about Tenebrous's early life, but he eventually rose to become one of the most powerful Sith Lords of his time.

Tenebrous's Apprenticeship

Tenebrous took Plagueis as his apprentice and taught him the ways of the dark side. Plagueis was a brilliant scientist and quickly mastered Tenebrous's teachings. Together, they devised a plan to overthrow the Republic and establish a new Sith Empire.

Experiments with the Force

Tenebrous was particularly interested in experimenting with the Force. He believed that the Force could be used to create life and control the destinies of others. Plagueis assisted Tenebrous in his experiments, and together they developed several powerful new Force techniques.

Tenebrous's Downfall

Tenebrous's reign as a Sith Master came to an end when Plagueis betrayed him. Plagueis believed that Tenebrous was holding him back from his full potential, so he killed his master and took his place as the Sith Master.
