Boston Celtics Without Porzingis White For Upcoming Game

Derrick White Injury Update: Spurs Guard Available to Return

Boston Celtics Without Porzingis, White for Upcoming Game

The Boston Celtics will be without two key players in their upcoming game, as Kristaps Porzingis (right knee inflammation) and Derrick White (sore right knee) have both been ruled out. The Celtics, who currently hold a 31-9 record, will face a tough challenge without these two starters.

White has been a key contributor for the Celtics this season, averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. He is also one of the team's best perimeter defenders. Porzingis has also been a valuable addition to the Celtics, providing size and scoring ability in the frontcourt. He is averaging 10.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.

The Celtics will need to find a way to replace the production of these two players if they want to continue their winning ways. They will likely turn to Grant Williams and Malcolm Brogdon to fill in for Porzingis and White, respectively.

The Spurs have removed guard Derrick White from their injury report, an indication that he could return to action soon. White has been out since November 29th with a sore right knee. He is averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game this season.
